In line with the directives of the Amir, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatar's Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) has launched an air bridge to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to support ongoing relief and rescue operations after two powerful earthquakes struck the capital, Caracas.


The humanitarian mission reflects Qatar's continued commitment to providing rapid international assistance during natural disasters and supporting affected communities with emergency aid.


Relief Teams and Medical Support Deployed


According to a social media post by the Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the aircraft carried a specialized team from the Qatar International Search and Rescue Group (Lekhwiya) along with essential humanitarian resources.
